We bought two salvias at the annual plant sale at our local garden store two days ago. Still not planted and yes the weather is amazing! Another mid 50’s morning walk! Tomorrow I will do it tomorrow. Enjoy your new hostas!
It’s hard to tell from your picture but I believe that little hosta is a “mouse ears”. But what a perfect spot for your new hostas! I’m envious of your cool weather. We hit 103 here in central Texas yesterday although I must admit it’s been relatively mild here so far. Hope Auggie’s trip to the acupuncturist brings him relief. Thank you for sharing.
It’s always “Maybe tomorrow” - same here. I get it. Hosta gardens are gorgeous, especially when they are mixed. Do it while it’s cool, it will go quickly. Don’t think about it too much, just get them in the ground, somewhere. You have good options. Good luck!
Ah how i would to have your “mojo”. Between you and Joyce Vance with her chicken, dogs and cats I literally have a cathartic connection to the beauty you both describe. Living in the blast furnace called the SW. I’m struggling to keep my trees from being scorched by the ball of fire we call the sun. Trying to keep beautiful blooms alive during our scalding summers is as hard on this human as it is on my tender plants and trees. Alas I must enjoy them from afar.

My recently planted 17 astilbe are struggling in the rain deficit. I hope your hostas will fare better. I'm still sacrificing domestic order and productivity to turning more pages in North of ..... can't put it down. My thanks!

I think it works for pain of any kind? It’s all kind of mysterious to me. But if he feels better, and I can keep him off life-shortening drugs, it’s a win.

Yes, he has arthritis in his spine. Old injury.
