Welcome back. My chives bloom every spring and the bees love the fuzzy purple flower tops. They look like mini allium. What a juicy weekend it’s been. Typical for a 3 day Memorial Day Weekend. The South really needed this rain, we were in a pretty dry period. Everything is growing like mad. My Banana Spiders have finally hatched and their tiny selves are finding their spot to grow into massive garden spiders. They are truly beautiful (if you can get by the spider fact). Glad the biggies are glad that you’re back. Hang in there, it’s only going to get darker before it gets darker. Love to those biggies 💕. C.
Looks like you have a lot of catching up to do! Eli is hoping you’re not “all walked out” from the beach and Auggie is ready to play with his green ball. Have a restful and restorative day. 🐾🐾
Welcome home! Of course because it is Monday the skies are clearing. There was a 3 day party here, in the recording studio barn, not my house thankfully ,the music was great, keeping with tradition there was a rousing singing of sea shanties around a soggy fire last night. Lots of friends and family all getting ready to now leave till next Memorial Day. This was the 37th "Black Fly festival" my son's have thrown. I do have serious garden envy!!!
It's lovely to hear about your time with munchkins, even if the beach time didn't happen until the last day. The photos were wonderful. My spring garden is purple and white and I do a lot of sitting and grinning out there. On this Memorial Day, I thought about my own military family and why days of commemoration in any country are so important. Stopping and reflecting, with gratitude, is something we all should do more often. I was a "mature" student of 50-ish in a 2nd year seminar when the "youngsters" were trying to reconcile their very passionate and justified anti-war views with Canada's participation in 20th Century war efforts. I was thinking it, so I said it out loud, "We are here now because they were there then." Perhaps I was a bit too categorical, but they did pause and then tried to be a little more nuanced in their discussion. As always, tender boops for the fur babies!
Love the purple garden. It is my favorite color and the most prominent in my garden, especially my lavender roses. I contrast with orange and coral. 😊
That sounds beautiful!

Thanks.
The picture from above the clouds is special to this infrequent flyer. Terra firma is nice too.
I’m so jealous!! I adore allium but it’s too hot for it down here in Central Texas.
Great shots of your garden.
I am always glad to get home regardless of the pets, but it is also great to see them as well.
Enjoy what remains of the holiday weekend.

Welcome home !!
Welcome home, good people!
The gardens look gorgeous! It’s good to be away, and it’s always good to come home..
I expect to arrive home to the end of the alliums!
Maybe Clara can take photos for you.
Wonderful garden! Loving the purple - for me it is an essential color!
"You know you love me.. and I know you are going to throw the Green ball for me!" - Auggie 😁😊🐾🥎
"Why did the large adorable wolf cross the road?" (You all finish the punchline.) 😁😊🐾
To get to Auggie's green ball?
