Amen! Happy Independence Day to you, Charlie and the amazing Eli and Auggie. I’m thinking about all that is good today. Family, friends, furry pals and just life in general.
Reasonable, maybe. But still wrong. The gentleman I was thinking about is an author and historian, but I was way off with the name. Should have double checked. 🤷🏼♀️
In 1976 when I was a third year lost student working at the federal courthouse in Philadelphia, which is located directly on independence Mall, to help celebrate the Bicentennial there was a nightly free performance of 1776, which was very entertaining. My girlfriend and I (later my wife) went a couple of times and enjoyed it tremendously. Despite Paul Giamatti's wonderful performance in the John Adams miniseries on HBO, I can only envision William Daniels in that role.
Amen!
A happy and safe fourth to you and Charlie!

Thanks for pointing me there. I hadn't heard about the serious push for a second general convention before.
There is so much detail available in their research.
Richard Loeffler was recently on The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, about his new book. A very interesting interview.
Are you sure it was my guy?
Sincere apologies, Jan. I was thinking of someone else. This is why you fact-check. So sorry.
No need to apologize.

As it turns out, I misspelled Richard Leffler’s name, so your assumption is reasonable.

I’m with you on William Daniels.
