As someone who has five rescue dogs in the house (one who is a foster, my loving husband likes to point out, just in case anyone thought he was staying 😂), your life with Pete resembled my own. I cried when he died, and I cried six months later when my own old hound Calvin followed him. I purchased two signed copies of Pete’s book, one for each of my new grandsons, so that they could love Pete, too. ❤️
I almost cried when I saw these beautiful art works of Pete, whom I first met when I was following you on a different social medium. I wonder if more of us published our dogs and their virtues the world would be a kinder place of all of us.
Pete was certainly a treasure. I loved him as if he were my own. I cried when he went over the Bridge. These fur babies should live as long as we do. It just isn't fair. Thank you for sharing him with the world.
