Poor Auggie looks bewildered in the first photo, but they both look relaxed and happy to have Charlie on the floor with them in a soft spot. Lucky them to get the exclusive first concert!

We are going to need our music and our books and our furry friends when we seek relief from the outside craziness and need a breath to focus inward from time to time. Enjoy creating your lovely refuge and thank you for sharing with us.

Thank you for sharing such a special family moment. Helps me to smile and feel the peace (before the chaos of moving back in 😉) and love and support!

Your words about the mini piano concert for Charlie and the boys made me smile. 😊 Too bad about the piano bench but glad it will be mended soon. Good luck with your plans with comfortable minimalistic home decor. I believe in it and in you!

I’m not sure how minimalistic you can be with thousands of books and two enormous dogs. But it will be good.

Beautiful piano and floors. Can't wait to see all your furniture in place.

Just to echo other comments. I love to start the day with your piano stories, and love to see Charlie with the dogs once in a while. Your guys are so wonderful! Happy times ahead once the dust has literally settled. Thanks again for sharing the adventures.

Love the floors and the color of the walls! Thanks for letting us share some normalcy. I needed to be reminded that there is life out there and not just suffering. Charlie's smile helps.

I’m glad the piano made it safely and you were able to play for a little while. I love the photo of Charlie and the boys on the cushions 😂 it reminds me of the cat related meme “if I fits, I sits”.

It looks really “happy” in its new spot. Ok, what Sonata are you working on?? You’re giving me encouragement to pick up a new piece here to learn. My piano needs more space. I think I need to remove more furniture too!!

Very simple. Mozart’s 16. You’ll recognize it immediately.

I envy you your wonderful distraction at this moment in history. Your project was stressful but a good stressful because it was distracting and had a very definite end. Now, at the end of days where Mr. Sykes has to tell us we’re not the crazy ones, you can play that sonata and just absorb the peace and beauty. ❤️🙏 for you and Mr. Sykes and your little family.
